Referring to the Start.Prof - Seismic Wave Propagation Analysis Chapter (link: https://passuite.com/kbase/doc/start/We ... icWave.htm), I need a clarification regarding the second check of the Strength analysis for ASCE 2001 (ALA): in the equation reported in the attached jpg, what does the term σq stand for? And how can I calculate it?
