Hi,
We require most of the time GAP values lower than 5 mm, usually the most required values are 1.6 mm (1/16") and 3.2 mm (1/8"). How can be set in START-PROF?
Thank you in advance,

Re: How to set smaller gap values?
Hello,
The gaps less than 5 mm are not recommended to be taken into account during stress analysis. It is just a technological gap that may actually be absent. The accuracy of such a gap cannot be ensured during installation.
START-PROF ignore gaps less than 5 mm in standard guide supports.
But if you really need to model such a small gap, you may set it using the nonstandard restraint
In nonstandard restraint all gaps are modeled. Including that are lower than 5 mm.
